YouTube is launching a new product “YouTube Shorts” in March. No not actually shorts. a new short-form video tool allowing users to “shoot snappy videos with nothing but their mobile phones. Yes, exactly like TikTok but on YouTube.
YouTube Shorts already successful in India. United States beta is coming this March.
YouTube mainly known for long form videos has to keep up with the trend and frankly our attention span. Personally after 1 minute of a video I’m bored or I just move on.. Yea, I’m very millennial.
When I first got into Radio or even tv I loved to edit videos and create video content but I never got into YouTube. It never excited me like the other platforms do. I’m still not on the YouTube hype; even with YouTube Tv and YouTube Originals.
I will give YouTube Shorts the respect of my short attention span and check it out!
